Ingredients

  • 3 boneless, skinless chicken breast
  • 1/2 lb bacon
  • 1 cup frozen chopped spinach
  • 1 lb Great Value Fettucini pasta
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp minced garlic
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 oz cream cheese

Instructions

1. Start by boiling a pot of water for pasta. Chop bacon into small pieces and cook in separate pan over medium heat, until crispy. Remove bacon from pan and add diced chicken and minced garlic. Cooking the chicken in the bacon grease takes this dish to a whole new level. Once chicken is browned and thoroughly cooked, put cook bacon pieces back into pan. While these ingredients are cooking, start boiling pasta.

2. Add olive oil and butter to chicken and bacon mixture, allow to get hot, then add flour. Stir until all meat is coated in flour, then add milk. Once milk is added, you will want to stir constantly until sauce thickens. Once sauce has thickened a bit, add parmesan cheese, cream cheese, spinach, salt and pepper. Continue mixing well over medium heat until cream cheese has melted, then remove from heat. 3. Combine pasta and sauce; serve with salad and bread if desired.
